The euphoria which gripped Ukraine and Poland on April 18, 2007 after winning the right to host Europe’s football championship, EURO 2012, has come to nothing. الغبطه الذي يجتاح اوكرانيا وبولندا في 18 نيسان / ابريل 2007 بعد فوزه في الحق لاستضافة بطولة اوروبا لكرة القدم ، اليورو عام 2012 ، قد حان لشيء.

A year after the triumphal hugs and kisses, the two countries’ preparations have progressed so poorly that Football Federation of Ukraine President Hryhoriy Surkis, and Football Federation of Poland President Michal Listkiewicz had to explain the situation in detail to the Union of European Football Association’s executive committee in last March. بعد مرور سنة على منتصر الحضنات والقبل ، البلدين الاعمال التحضيريه قد احرزت تقدما ضعيفا حتى ان اتحاد كرة القدم رئيس hryhoriy surkis اوكرانيا ، وبولندا لكرة القدم من رئيس الاتحاد ميشال listkiewicz قد لشرح الوضع بالتفصيل الى الاتحاد الاوروبي لكرة القدم ' ق اللجنة التنفيذية في آذار / مارس الماضي.

The National Agency to Prepare and Host EURO 2012 was established to coordinate all state structures in Ukraine. الوكالة الوطنية لاعداد واستضافة اليورو 2012 انشئت لتنسيق جميع هياكل الدولة في اوكرانيا. Its chair, Yevhen Chervonenko, constantly criticizes the Cabinet of Ministers for ignoring his organization’s problems. رئيسة ، yevhen chervonenko ، باستمرار ينتقد مجلس الوزراء لتجاهل منظمته المشاكل.

“I consider the level of financial support for the Agency by the government to be embarrassing,” he said of the EURO 2012 preparation funding. There is a rumour going around that Poland-Ukraine was awarded the rights to host Euro 2012 only by embittered Lennart Johansson acolytes looking to screw up Michel Platini’s reign. وثمة شائعات حول ان يجري في بولندا واوكرانيا ومنح حقوق لاستضافة اليورو 2012 إلا شاعر بالمراره لينارت يوهانسون المساعدون اتطلع الى البرغي حتى ميشيل بلاتيني حكم. Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk declared a donation from the national budget - the one-third of the whole building cost - for those cities that organize football Euro Championship. رئيس الوزراء البولندي ، واعلن دونالد الناب للتبرع من الميزانيه الوطنية -- ثلث تكاليف بناء الجامع -- لتلك المدن التي تنظم بطولة كرة القدم الأوروبية. Confederation of Polish Employers claims that it is a good step in a good direction. أتحاد أرباب العمل البولنديه تدعي انها خطوة جيدة في اتجاه جيد.

The present-day press conference of the Prime Minister showed that all the preparation to the EURO 2012 are conducted on schedule. هذا اليوم - مؤتمر صحفى من رئيس الوزراء وتبين ان جميع الاعداد الى اليورو 2012 وتجرى في موعدها. We need Polish Beckenbauer as soon as it’s possible- it’s the conclusion from the meeting concerning organization of Euro 2012. نحن بحاجة الى beckenbauer البولنديه في اقرب وقت ممكن - وهو انه من اختتام الاجتماع بشأن تنظيم اليورو عام 2012. In the conference which was organized in في المؤتمر الذي تم تنظيمه في Warsaw وارسو ‘Euro 2012- a chance or a risk?’ representatives of 'اليورو 2012 -- فرصة او خطر؟' ممثلو Austria النمسا and و Switzerland سويسرا shared their experiences in preparing to next year’s European championships with representatives of Polish municipal government. Conclusions weren’t optimistic… وكانت النتائج غير متفائل…

-I think that we are able to organize championships. - اعتقد اننا قادرون على تنظيم البطولات. It isn’t so complicated, but it seems that no one does nothing. انها ليست معقدة ، لكن يبدو ان لا احد لا يفعل شيئا. So far we haven’t done a plan. ونحن حتى الآن لم تكن قد فعلت الخطة. Instead of talking by a few months we should decide who and when has to do something. The industrial heart of eastern Ukraine was glowing in a beautiful sunset as local heroes Shakhtar Donetsk took on their arch-rivals Dinamo Kiev. القلب الصناعي للشرق اوكرانيا كانت متوهجه في غروب جميل المحلية ابطال shakhtar احاطت دونيتسك على المنافسين القوس - دينامو كييف.

Yet the Soviet-era stadium looked small and a bit too old-fashioned for Shakhtar Donetsk, one of the country’s top teams. ومع ذلك فان الحقبه السوفياتيه ملعب الصغيرة ونظرت الي قليلا جدا قديمة لshakhtar دونيتسك ، وهي واحدة من أكبر الفرق القطريه.

There are concerns that Ukraine may not be ready in time for the Uefa European Football Championships in 2012, which it will co-host with Poland. وثمة مخاوف من ان اوكرانيا قد لا يكون جاهزا في الوقت المناسب لبطولة كأس الامم الاوروبية لكرة القدم في عام 2012 ، الذي سيكون في استضافة مع بولندا. It will be the most prestigious project that Ukraine has ever co-hosted, and it is expected to attract thousands of fans. وسيكون من ابرز المشاريع من اي وقت مضى ان اوكرانيا قد شاركت في استضافتها ، ومن المتوقع ان يجتذب الآلاف من مشجعي فريق. But there are fears that the politicians here do not have their eye on the ball. ولكن هناك مخاوف من ان السياسيين هنا لا يكون لها وعينه على الكرة. Donetsk is one of four host cities in Ukraine. دونيتسك واحدة من اربع مدن مضيفه في اوكرانيا. All of the venues were built by the communists, and they are well past their best, needing to be replaced or renovated. جميع من اماكن بنيت من قبل الشيوعيين ، وانها ايضا افضل الماضية ، والتي تحتاج الى استبدال او تجديدها. Ukraine has faced one political crisis after another and now the country is preparing for a general election. اوكرانيا قد واجهت ازمة سياسية واحدة بعد الأخرى ، والان تستعد البلاد لاجراء انتخابات عامة. “The most difficult thing will be to change the attitude, to make the authorities look in the direction of football and start paying attention to the country’s infrastructure,” says Dmitriy Chigrinsky, a player for Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine. "اصعب شيء سيكون على تغيير الموقف ، لجعل السلطات تنظر في اتجاه كرة القدم وبداية الالتفات الى البنية الاساسية للبلاد ،" يقول dmitriy chigrinsky ، لاعبا للshakhtar دونيتسك واوكرانيا. “It’s no secret that our country needs serious modernisation,” Dmitriy adds. It left only 1800 days to the greatest event in the history of وغادرت 1800 ايام فقط لأكبر حدث في تاريخ Poland بولندا . . Although decision concerning organization of the European Football Championships in Poland and Ukraine was taken four months ago, the Government still hasn’t taken a list of investment which have to be carried out till the opening of Euro 2012, and also hasn’t prepared package of legal-organization changes which introduction in life is essential for Poland so as not to bring shame in the European arena… ورغم ان قرار بشأن تنظيم بطولات الاتحاد الاوروبي لكرة القدم فى بولندا واوكرانيا ، وقد اتخذ قبل اربعة أشهر ، فان الحكومة لم تتخذ ما زالت قائمة للاستثمار والتي يجب ان تنفذ حتى افتتاح يورو عام 2012 ، وأيضا لم أعد مجموعة - منظمة من التغييرات القانونية التي مقدمة في الحياة أمر أساسي بالنسبة لبولندا وذلك بألا يحضر العار في الساحة الأوروبية…

Euro 2012 is not only a chance for historic sports success(Poles so far haven’t played in the European Football Championship finals) but also a chance for the promotion of the country as well as a chance for binging forward the realization of some cultural backwardness. اليورو 2012 ليست فقط فرصة تاريخية لنجاح الالعاب الرياضية (اقطاب حتى الآن لم لعب في النهائيات الأوروبية لكرة القدم) وانما أيضا فرصة للترويج للبلد وكذلك فرصة binging الى الامام لتحقيق بعض التخلف الثقافي . After four months since granting the right to organize football championships it seems, that for the government institutions this decision was like a bolt out of the blue. وبعد أربعة اشهر منذ ان منح حق التنظيم بطولات كرة القدم على ما يبدو ان المؤسسات الحكوميه لهذا القرار مثل الترباس من الازرق. Although nearly the next day after announcing the name of countries - finals host government and parliamentary policymakers announced bringing forward the realization of strategic investments, and no binding decisions has been taken till the middle of August. ورغم ان ما يقرب من اليوم التالي بعد الاعلان عن اسم من البلدان -- استضافة نهائيات الحكومة والبرلمان وأعلن واضعو السياسات من اجل التوصل الى تحقيق من الاستثمارات الاستراتيجيه ، وليس قرارات ملزمة قد اتخذت حتى منتصف آب / اغسطس. – There is no doubt that organization of Euro 2012 will initiate many positive processes which results can be perceptible for a long time. -- ليس هناك شك فى ان منظمة اليورو 2012 وسوف تبدأ العديد من العمليات الايجابية التي يمكن ان تكون نتائج محسوسه لفترة طويلة. It is said that the opening match and also the closing of Euro 2012 will be given to Ukraine. يشار الى ان المباراة الافتتاحية وكذلك اغلاق اليورو 2012 وسوف تعطي اوكرانيا. Poland undertook to build the National Stadium till the middle of 2010. بولندا تعهدت لبناء الملعب الوطني حتى منتصف عام 2010. Elżbieta Jakubiak, the Minister for Sport, admitted recently that it is impossible to carry out this contract and that is why she wants to ask UEFA to extend the time limit for one year. Elżbieta jakubiak ، ووزير الرياضة ، اعترف مؤخرا انه من المستحيل تنفيذ هذا العقد وهذا هو السبب فى انها تريد ان نسأل لكأس الامم تمديد المهله الزمنية لمدة سنة واحدة. But the problem is that Jakubiak is not a side with whom UEFA can negotiate. لكن المشكلة ان jakubiak ليس الى جنب مع كأس الامم من يمكن التفاوض. – The contract for the organization of championships was signed by both the president of the Polish Football Association and by the head of the Ukrainian Football Federation. -- العقد لتنظيم البطولات وقعه كل من الرئيس البولندي لكرة القدم ورئيس الاتحاد الاوكراني لكرة القدم. And only these two men can renegotiate this contract. والا هذين الرجلين يمكن اعادة التفاوض بشان هذا العقد. But from what I know it appears that so far no one from our association spoke about the extension of time limits not only with UEFA but also with Ukrainian Football Federation without which we can do nothing – says Barłomiej Marks, coordinator Euro 2012 in PZPN (the Polish Football Association).
