Jenson Button believes Nico Rosberg can build on his victory at the Chinese Grand Prix and win many more races, starting with Sunday’s Bahrain GP.
Rosberg secured his first ever victory in Shanghai and Button, 9/4 with bookmaker to win in Bahrain, believes the German is capable of winning lots more races in his Mercedes car this year.
Button, who is currently second in the standings and can be backed at 2/1 to secure the drivers’ championship, said: “I’m sure that this won’t be Nico’s first and last win.
“They – the team – seem very competitive this year and Nico obviously hasn’t put a foot wrong all weekend. So I think we’re going to have a battle on our hands this year which is good to see.”
