This is a change of strategy of PO, for last few days both Drzewiecki and the president of Warsaw Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz espoused the change of the Stadium’s location.

Yesterday evening the City Council presented five proposals of a new location of the Stadium. “It is an emergency plan, we are thinking about A-plan. That is National Stadium for 55 thousand in place, where it is today, that is on the Tenth Anniversary Stadium meadows” – said Drzewiecki in Even More Sport show.

According to him, the present location is good. “This place has a pretty good access, the area is beautiful, large and has sport traditions” – says Drzewiecki.

Drzewiecki promises audit in the ministry when the new team gets into the ministry of sport “If the situation is that bad, that we are all misled and the government’s failures has made the plan impossible to complete, then we will have to look for a B-plan”.

There are at least two alternatives. Either the National Stadium will be built on one of the places proposed by the Council or, at worse, the opening match will take place outside of the capital, and Varsovians would see group games on enlarged Legia stadium.
