The fourteenth finals of the UEFA European Football Championship will be held in Poland and in Ukraine between 8 June and 1 July 2012. For the third time the right to organize the tournament was given to the two countries. Sixteen teams divided into four groups will compete in eight stadiums for the final triumph. The Czech Republic and Greece on Sunday became the first teams competing in Euro 2012 to arrive in Poland, a UEFA official said, with the opening matches in the tournament less than a week away. France will host football European championships in 2016, decided in Geneva the Executive Committee of Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
