West Ham boss Sam Allardyce expects new record signing Matt Jarvis to be the man to help his side consolidate in the Premier League this season.
Jarvis has joined from Wolves for a fee that could eventually rise to around £10.75million, with the Irons 5/2 with bookmaker to be relegated straight back to the Championship.
Allardyce is hopeful that this will not be the final outcome this season and has tipped Jarvis to create some much-needed chances for his strikers.
He told the Evening Standard: “He is a player who has proved he can really deliver in the final third on a regular basis and that will be a key element to us scoring and creating goals.
“I do believe Matt will considerably improve our attacking ability this season, create chances and help us score the goals we need to do well.”
The Hammers are 13/5 to back up a home win against Aston Villa last weekend with a victory at Swansea City on Saturday.
