Tom Cleverley could return from his long injury lay-off when Manchester United face Liverpool this weekend.
The midfielder has missed 29 games this season after picking up an ankle injury at the beginning of the campaign in a controversial tackle involving Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies.
But Cleverley has been improving his fitness levels in training recently and could be on the substitutes’ bench for a game that United are 8/1 with bookmaker to win 2-0 while Liverpool can be backed at 11/1 to secure a 1-0 victory.
If the 22-year-old comes through the Old Trafford clash unscathed, he could return to Sir Alex Ferguson’s starting line-up for the Europa League clash with Ajax.
