After reading the majority of these posts, I’m so disgusted with the comments made. This site is to talk about the Eurocup 2012. We should all be excited about meeting new people, experiencing a new country. There is so much unrest in this world, it should not be going on everywhere. I came here to read about the upcoming Eurocup 2012 and how the countries are progressing getting ready for it. My background is Polish. My dad was from Poznan and I have visited Poland, quite a long long time ago but I remember that people were kind and friendly and I like to think it is still that way. I will say good luck to all the countries participating in the Eurocup and thank you to Poland and the Ukraine for hosting this great sport.

Based on the majority of the above comments, I now understand (better) why there have been so many wars between the countries of Europe, in particular the great wars of WWI and WWII.

At least, you’ll never be able to say that Poland was an evil demented country like Germany or Russia was, nor a petty and/or wussy country like France and many others in Europe. It’s unfortunate that throughout Poland’s history, due to its location, it’s been caught between the evil powers in Europe and the evil powers in Western Asia, with unreliable entities bordering the South.

In spite of the above, “Westerners” can now thank Poland for the fall of communism and the current liberation of Eastern Europe and all of the Soviet Bloc countries. Good luck Polska, in handling Euro 2012.

i feel sorry for all the nations reeding some of your comments. so much hatred within you. no wonder we cant have a single day of PEACE since i can remember. no one i know witnessed one. and people, its just a euro 2012 site.

So I have been reading all your comments someones were nice and friendly but someones were terrible….
I can’t imagine HOW person who don’t know Ukraine can write things like that about my country… As I think MassMedia control your minds… U are not think by yourself u kust think how other….
I can write about Ukraine: stadiums, infrastructure, ppl, racism, history for houres….
I can prove that u wrong but better done than just speak about it!
