During the Euro 2012 in the Ukrainian airports and airspace of Ukraine will be on duty by up to four fighters and two helicopters. This was during a briefing on February 21 said director of operations – Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major-General Victor Gamora. According to him, the Ukrainian side is a constant dialogue with the Polish colleagues.
“Today, the Ukrainian side intends to continue consultations with the Polish working group to amend the agreement between the defense ministries of both countries regarding the exchange of information on air situation and mission assurance Ukrainian and Polish military aircraft in the airspace of both countries”, – said Victor Gamora.
