Football – Arsenal still in the market

Arsene Wenger says he hasn’t ruled out bringing in more new faces at Arsenal following the Gunners’ second goalless draw of the new Premier League campaign.

Arsenal, who are 4/6 with bookmaker to finish in the top four again this season, failed to break Stoke down on Sunday, a week after drawing a blank against Sunderland, and the Arsenal boss concedes his side need to find a cutting edge.
Wenger has already signed forwards Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski, as well as midfielder Santi Cazorla, but the pressure is building on a team that hasn’t found the back of the net since losing Robin van Persie to Manchester United.
“We always felt we were dangerous (against Stoke), but we couldn’t finish it off. We have work to do in the final third,” admitted Wenger.
“We are active and there could still be action in the transfer market.”
