Dustin Johnson believes his big-hitting game is perfect for this week’s Australian Open, a tournament the 27-year-old is 16/1 with bookmaker to win.
The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney is a short 6,264 metres course, seemingly tailor-made for Johnson’s tactics.
Johnson, who comes into the event as the highest-ranked player in the field, said: “The course is in great shape. It sets up pretty well for me. The tough part of the course is the greens and you’ve got to hit it on the right level.”
Tiger Woods is expected to make most of the headlines though this week and is available at 10/1 to win the tournament.
