Kevin Sinfield sees no reason why England can’t win this month’s Four Nations title after pushing Australia all the way at Wembley.
England, 9/1 with bookmaker to win the tournament, will play the Kangaroos again in the final if they can avoid defeat against New Zealand this weekend at Hull’s KC Stadium.
England were eventually beaten 36-20 by Australia, now 2/11 to win the Four Series, but Sinfield took plenty of positives from the encounter.
He said: “We’ve proven that they’re there for the taking and that gives us a lot of confidence.”
