The experts from a special UEFA committee finished on Tuesday their two-day visit to Wroclaw which was devoted to the hotels and accommodation during European Football Championships in 2012. The experts visited all four and five star hotels in Wroclaw. They visited 10 working objects and construction sites of four following investments.

41 737 spectators will be able to watch the matches on the new stadium which is being built in Wroclaw Maslice. During Euro 2012 three group matches are going to be organized in Wroclaw. Global financial crisis may make the job of preparing for the Euro 2012 football championship easier for Poland as demand for unrelated construction eases and prices drop, a senior official said on Friday. In Gdansk the company to complete the first stage of groundwork at the construction of the Euro 2012 stadium was chosen. The works are to set off in December 2008 and last for six months. UEFA President Michel Platini has urged the international community on Thursday to help Poland and Ukraine in their preparations for the Euro 2012. The Modernization of the second stand of the Municipal Stadium in Poznan is on schedule. On Thursday, at the board meeting it was confirmed that scheduled work will be completed till the end of August, according to plan. At present the concrete work on the top floor is being finished, construction is being built, the necessary installations and the media are assembled, and the floor laying works are being done. As soon as these works are finished, chairs and handrails will be installed and the finishing works will be done.

Experiences of other countries show, that the organization of the Championships, most of all, gives benefits for companies which take part in tourist traffic service, improves an image of given country, and also causes great development of infrastructure. According to preliminary approximations, about half a million foreign supporters should arrive in Poland during Euro 2012.
