Emmanuel Adebayor has warned his Spurs team-mates that they need to beat the smaller sides in the Premier League if they are to finish in the top four this season.
Harry Redknapp’s team travel to Norwich City on Tuesday and make the trip to Swansea City on New Year’s Eve and Adebayor believes six points from those two matches is vital.
“If you want to be in the top four, these are the types of games that you have to win home and away. We have to do what it takes to win those games. Otherwise, forget it,” said the former Arsenal star.
Spurs are 4/5 with bookmaker to beat Norwich while the Canaries are 7/2 to secure the victory.
