Kenny Dalglish has backed his recent signings to come to the fore when Liverpool, 13/2 with bookmaker to win the game 1-0, face Everton in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime.
Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing, Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and Jose Enrique, who have all moved to Anfield this year, are set to feature in the much-anticipated clash.
“I don’t think there’s anybody who’ll be involved with us on Saturday who’ll be undermined or surprised by what they come up against,” said Dalglish.
Daniel Agger has resumed training but will not feature against David Moyes’ side, who are 10/1 to edge the encounter 2-1, while Glen Johnson will also be missing. Skipper Steven Gerrard is likely to be on the bench.
