Roberto Mancini has added Swansea City winger Scott Sinclair to his squad after allowing Adam Johnson to join Sunderland last week.
The 23-year-old could make his debut for City when they take on QPR on Saturday, a repeat of the final game of last season when Mancini’s team clinched the Premier League title in dramatic fashion with a 3-2 win at the Etihad Stadium.
City, who are 13/10 with bookmaker to retain their Premier League title this term, are 11/1 to thrash Mark Hughes’ side 4-0.
“I’m just glad everything is settled and that I’m now a City player,” said Sinclair. “There were times when I thought it might not happen so I’m relieved that I’m here and I can’t wait to get started.”
