Victor Moses believes Wigan Athletic fans should not be too disheartened despite the Latics’ current position at the foot of the Premier League table.
Roberto Martinez’s side, 1/3 with bookmaker to be relegated this season, suffered a 3-1 loss to Wolves at the weekend, their eighth successive defeat.
But former Crystal Palace star Moses sees reasons for optimism and believes Wigan, 6/4 to finish at the foot of the table, will survive.
He said: “Our luck has got to change soon. It’s still early days and we’re confident of turning it around. Nobody is looking at the league at the moment. All we are continuing to concentrate on is to keep working hard.”
