Soccer – Redknapp ready for the fight

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp admits that his side now face a major fight to finish in the top four and secure a Champions League spot.

Tottenham, 1/2 with bookmaker to end the season in the top four, have won just one of their last eight Premier League games, dropping further points in a 2-1 home defeat to Norwich City on Monday.
Spurs are now in fourth by virtue of goal difference only, with Newcastle also on 59 points, while Chelsea are just two points further back.
Third place now looks likely to go to Arsenal, who are two points ahead of Spurs with a game in hand, with Redknapp saying: “It is all still to play for. It is going to be close, but there are still five games to go. It is the team who wants it most.
“We would settle for finishing fourth, Champions League football is the key. It would be lovely to finish above Arsenal, but that is going to be tough now.”
