Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted he has been in talks with Craig Bellamy regarding a move to Cardiff City this summer.
The 33-year-old looks to be on the verge of making a move back to the Bluebirds, who are 12/1 to win the Championship title this season with bookmaker.
Rodgers has now revealed he has held talks with Bellamy and has admitted the player is on the verge of a move back to the Welsh capital.
He said: “We have been in talks with him and Cardiff.
“He is 33 and has travelled around the country all his life, so there are compassionate reasons.
“We will look at it but we will wish him all the best and move forward.”
