Wimbledon and Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic appears to be in ominous form at the US Open.

The world number one, who is 5/4 with bookmaker to triumph at Flushing Meadows, dropped just two games in destroying Argentinian Carlos Berlocq 6-0 6-0 6-2.
The Serb then admitted that he was at his best for most of the match, saying: “The first two sets were ideal, I could not play better.
“I felt fantastic on the court and there is not much I can say when everything seems fun and seems enjoyable.”
Next up for Djokovic is Russian Nikolay Davydenko, a former top five player, who is 16/1 to cause a massive upset and win the match.
Third seed Roger Federer also impressed as he battered Dudi Sela 6-3 6-2 6-2. The Swiss maestro is 11/2 to land a sixth US Open title.

  1. I can’t wait to go the Australian Open 2012! I went last year and had one of the best times with my friends. Being able to watch Djokovic and Clijsters take the wins was amazing and have the opportunity to see parts of Australia at the same time was a great experience.
